3 - day kayaking tour to Päijänne National park. Price includes kayaks, lifevests, paddles, spraydecks and paddling guide.
Start is roughly at 3 PM on Friday from Tampere and we will return back to Tampere latest at 10 PM on Sunday. The transportation is not included, but we try to plan the transportation with attendees in a way that everyone has a seat on an attendees cars.
This tour is rated as easy. The maximum paddling distance per day is 20 km.
The pristine waters of Lake Päijänne wash the sandy shores of a chain of islands formed by an esker ridge that dates back to the Ice Age. Take a boat trip or rent a kayak and explore the park's many islands and their sandy coves and rocky shores. The nature trail at Pulkkilanharju ridge, accessible by road, also offers fine lakekand views. Look out for ospreys soaring over the lake.
